Too Conservative

It's too easy to play armchair quarterback and second guess after it's all over, but this "big game" non-sense has become far too psychological. Because of past shortcomings, Tressel has allowed both sides of the ball to play "not to lose" as opposed to playing to win. Be realistic, we're Ohio State. Even going back to past years peerformances, it was about the other teams psychological make-up allowing them to dominate physically. Hats off to defense. They held longer than I expected. I feel that offensive play calling left the defense on the field too long and it showed in SC's last drive. Cmon, we started the second half holding them to three and out, got the ball at midfield and reciprocated three and out. Ridiculous. We should've put SC away before halftime, and Tressel oddly enough didn't play conservative when he should have and it let SC get a cheap field goal to end the half. I think his butt hole starts to get tight in these big games now. Last two points: he has to turn Pryor loose and let him take games over. Need to recruit from inside out i.e. more beasts on oline and dline. We will finish 10-2 with outside shot at rematch at SC in Rose(cringe!!)
